What Augo is

A treatment diary that does not nag you

Starting a GLP-1 changes your relationship with food, energy and routine, usually faster than expected. Augo exists to keep a record of that without turning it into a second job. Log a meal in seconds, mark a dose as taken, watch the trend rather than the daily number.

Built for the messy middle

Weight does not fall in a straight line. Augo shows the moving trend so a heavy Tuesday does not read as failure.

Dose reminders that fit real life

Set the day and time that suits you, mark doses taken, and keep a history you can show a prescriber at review.

One place, not five apps

Food, water, weight, workouts, medication and recipes together, rather than scattered across half a dozen trackers.

Using Augo alongside Foundayo

Most of the tracking advice written for GLP-1 users assumes a weekly injection. A once-daily tablet changes what is worth logging, and Augo was built with both in mind. This is how Dayo readers tend to set it up.

A daily reminder, not a weekly one

Set the medication reminder to the time you actually take the tablet. Foundayo has no fasting rules, so pick the moment you never skip, and log the dose so a missed day is visible rather than guessed at. Our missed dose guide explains why doubling up is the wrong fix.

Mark each step change

Treatment moves through six steps, and side effects cluster around each increase. Note the date you step up in your dose history, then watch the nausea and the appetite in the days after. When your prescriber asks how the last step went, you will have an answer instead of a memory. The steps guide sets out the sequence.

Protein and water first

Appetite falls faster than the habit of drinking, and mild dehydration is one of the commonest causes of early queasiness. Set a water target and a protein target before a calorie target, because keeping protein up is what protects muscle while the weight comes off. The nutrition guide covers the numbers to aim for.

Weigh weekly, read the trend

Daily weight on a GLP-1 swings with water, salt and bowel habit far more than with fat. Weigh at the same time each week, let Augo draw the trend, and judge progress against the results timeline rather than against yesterday.

Log the bad days too

A note against a day of nausea, constipation or fatigue is more useful to a prescriber than a weight chart. Patterns show up in a fortnight that are invisible in the moment, and the side effects map tells you which ones need a conversation.

Keep the record when you switch pharmacy

Your dose history lives in Augo, not with the pharmacy, so if you move to a cheaper provider on the price list the record moves with you. That is exactly what a new prescriber wants to see before agreeing where you restart.

How it stays free

You only pay a human

Fair question: if the app is free, where does the money come from? The answer is deliberately boring. Augo is built and funded by Medstack Ltd, the company behind Dayo and the other comparison sites, then handed to users at no charge. Software is not where it earns anything. If you choose to book a real person through it, a coach, a dietitian, a personal trainer, that professional pays a small charge towards the cost of running that side.

That is the entire model. No adverts sold against your food diary, no data brokered to third parties, and no feature moved behind a subscription once enough people depend on it.

Why this matters for a weight loss app. An app funded by advertising has a reason to keep you scrolling. An app funded by subscriptions has a reason to make cancelling hard. Augo earns only when it connects you to a professional you chose to contact. Those incentives are far less troubling.

Your data

A food diary is personal. It is treated that way.

Not sold, not brokered

What you log stays yours. Augo does not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers, which is the direct consequence of not being funded by them.

Yours to remove

You can delete your account and the data attached to it. No retention hostage-taking to make leaving awkward.

Not a medical device

Augo records what you tell it. It does not diagnose, prescribe or advise on your dose. Treatment decisions belong with your prescriber.

Questions

Augo, answered plainly

Can I download Augo yet?
Yes. Augo came out of development in September 2026 and is free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, or in a browser at augo.co.uk. The waiting list has gone and no card is taken at sign up.
Is Augo genuinely free, or free for now?
Yes, free. Every feature, on every platform, with no card at sign up and no premium tier to graduate into. The revenue comes from optional bookings with human professionals, not from the software.
Do I need to be taking Foundayo to use it?
No. Augo works alongside any GLP-1 treatment, including Foundayo, Mounjaro and both forms of Wegovy, and it works perfectly well if you are taking nothing at all and simply want to track food and training.
Will it tell me what dose to take?
No, and it should not. Augo records the doses you tell it about and reminds you when one is due. Deciding what to take, and when to step up, is a matter for the prescriber who assessed you.
Does it work on Android as well as iPhone?
Yes, and in a browser. The feature set is the same on each, rather than Android trailing behind as an afterthought.
Does Augo know the Foundayo step schedule?
It records whatever dose and schedule you enter, including a once-daily tablet and the date of each step change, and reminds you at the time you set. It does not decide when you should step up. That is your prescriber’s call, and the six-step sequence is explained in the Dayo steps guide.
Can Augo help with Foundayo side effects?
Indirectly. It cannot treat nausea, but a daily note of how you felt against the dose you took is the record a prescriber needs to decide whether to hold you at a step for longer. Water and protein targets also address the two commonest avoidable causes of feeling unwell early on. Anything severe or persistent needs a clinician, not an app.
What is the connection between Augo and Dayo?
Both are built by Medstack Ltd. Dayo compares what Foundayo costs across UK pharmacies. Augo helps once treatment has started. Neither sells, prescribes or dispenses medicines, and using one does not require the other.
